Rick does Gold Rush History and Music Programs for festivals, fairs, elementary schools and civic events
all over California. He's also Aimee's excellent fiddle teacher and has been a huge part of the growth and
encouragement of our band.
Mountain Laurel Bluegrass Band is a great
band, also here in Grass Valley, and a really fine group of nice and helpful folks. They've been very
supportive of us and our music. You'll find us sharing the stage with Mountain Laurel at several different events.
Grass Valley's Barry Angell has provided excellent guitar and mandolin instruction for Paige and Ethan.
Barry teaches flat-pick style guitar and mandolin and also upright bass. He's also been playing mandolin in the contra dance

are custom hand-crafted fiddles and violins from this maker in Idaho. Frank produces some really nice instruments
which are played by some of the top fiddle players in several prominent bands. Aimee is the proud owner of Frank's Fiddle #146.
Builder Randy Allen of Allen Guitars & Luthier Supplies
is a builder of fine hand-crafted Resophonic Guitars, Mandolins, and Acoustic Guitars. You will also find
a selection of luthier supplies including tonewoods, inlay, tailpieces, dobro parts, fret-slotting and fret boards.
Ethan uses one of Randy's fine tailpieces on his mandolin.
Living Letters is Randy & Penny Allen and Friends on a
gospel CD project with songs they've been singing for years, and finally after many requests have now recorded many of
those.
The California Bluegrass Association
The "CBA". Great festivals,
events, and another bunch of fine people. Their Father's Day Festival is where we first started experiencing live
bluegrass music several years ago. Paige is the CBA's Teen Ambassador, an appointment that started in Dec. 2007. Paige, Aimee, Ethan and Daisy are also active in their great Kid's programs at many festivals.
